Hi, I'm Susan Brown. Every sale has a buyer, a seller, a challenge, a peak, a valley, a closing, & a solid story. A good agent makes that story pleasant. Although I lean towards representing Sellers, I find myself with Buyers who seek an active listener, a knowledgeable agent, & a futurist. Let's begin the narrative.

This letter serves as a reference for Realtor, Susan Brown, regarding her dedication and real estate expertise as my sales agent while listing my home in Saponas Point, in Wilmington, NC. I had worked with three other realtors during the two years my home was on the market and I believe Susan exceeded all expectations to sell my home during a soft market for houses over the $400,000 mark. Susan took it upon herself to host many open houses and invite insurance representatives to answer questions buyers had involving flood insurance and other special insurance questions. She also put together a handbook to answer other anticipated questions that buyers would ultimately ask to qualify for loans or assure the buyers that everything was “documented” and answered to help them feel more comfortable before writing up an offer to purchase my home.
Susan has many talents, offers many areas of expertise and supported me as a seller by taking initiative and promoting my home in many different ways. She even helped me pack and clean, when the buyers wanted us to close in 16 days. She was congenial, had an excellent attitude and a broad knowledge base making her an invaluable resource for both buyers and sellers.
Susan also built strong personal relationships with many people in my community that proved to be invaluable, when my sink sprung a leak during the listing and the water set off my fire alarm and my neighbor actually called Susan who got the water cut off with only minimal damage to the downstairs area. Susan readily assumes responsibility and is never afraid to face challenges such as selling a higher priced home in a very soft market and taking care of contingencies as they evolve. I highly recommend Susan Brown for your consideration as a Realtor and agent, and I know she would be an asset to your team.
Best Regards,
KMc
This letter of recommendation is written for Susan Brown and Shay Perryman. First, you have to understand why we chose to sign with Susan and Shay. For weeks, we had been receiving pre written letters and post cards in the mail from dozens of brokers. We just left them on our counter and they began to pile up. Selling your home should be a fun time and provide new opportunities for you. After several unsuccessful attempts, we were frustrated thinking where do we go from here? And who can we count on?
The only broker that actually called us from all the materials we received was Susan Brown. Susan asked us to consider her service because of her proven track record. When we heard Susan’s enthusiasm and confidence in the market and her abilities, we knew we had found a match to our needs. Right from the start, Susan and Shay were out marketing our house, thinking “outside the box”and setting up Open Houses. We were not just another listing to them; we were an actual client who had their full and undivided attention. They are brokers who care.
We meet with them periodically throughout the process and were given real time statistical data. We could tell from their professionalism that they would not rest until a SOLD sign was posted on our house. They worked diligently, understood our goals and were extremely patient. They kept us in the loop the entire time, provided feedback as it came in and provided individual attention. My husband and I are now able to explore the new opportunities that we have so much wanted. It’s a very rewarding experience. I highly recommend Susan Brown and Shay Perryman. They will work FOR you, WITH you and provide personalized quality service. They will put that SOLD sign on your house. They did it for us when so many brokers just couldn’t or just didn’t want to take the time and work together.
Sincerely,
M. A.Tiedeman, Marathon Specialty Finance-industry leader in the recreational finance sector facilitating loans on boats and RVs.
